Q: I have a rose from my grandfather's funeral which I would like to save. Can you help me?

A: We certainly can! You can create your choice of a variety of keepsakes featuring your rose. We offer memorial tributes including Keepsake Balls, which encase your rose in a Lucite ball that may be hung or placed on a shelf. It can be engraved with a message in gold or silver. We can create a pressed floral border or shadowbox for a bereavement poem or photo, memorial program or verse of scripture. The choice is yours. We'll help you remember your lost loved one for years to come in a work of art you'll be proud to display in your home.

Sympathy Flowers from Funeral Spray

Q: The sympathy flowers that were picked from the casket spray at my friend's funeral have been in the refrigerator for 3 days. Can I still perserve them?

A: My guess would be, yes. Flowers last much longer when they are refrigerated. We can help you save them and create a memorial tribute that will be treasured for a lifetime. Is the keepsake a gift? Sympathy flowers can contribute to the healing process we go through when we lose a loved one. We can combine your flowers with a bereavement poem or verse of scripture in a shadowbox or pressed piece. A photo could also be included. As a gift, there is nothing that surpasses a floral design.

Large heart shaped spray at my grandmother's funeral

Q - We had a large heart shaped spray at my grandmother's funeral. It is so meaningful. Can I preserve it?

A - Most all sympathy flowers can be freeze dried. I would suggest a larger shadowbox, at least 16"x20" in order to achieve the shape of the heart. Creating a heart shape from sympathy flowers is an elegant and sentimental piece that will last for years, and can be passed down to your children as an heirloom.

Inexpensive gift for grandchildren from grandfather's funeral?

Q - I would like something inexpensive to give to 12 grandchildren from their grandfather's funeral.

A - We suggest a bookmark with a sentimental poem. We can also personalize it with his name and the two dates. We take the sympathy flowers from the funeral and preserve them with a sentimental poem, or scripture, for a lasting remembrance that the grandchildren will cherish forever.

Save funeral flowers, but not in frame?

Q - I would like to save my grandmother's funeral flowers, but not in a frame. What do you suggest?

A - Jewelry is very personal and sentimental . We take roses from the funeral, dry them and make them into beads for a necklace, bracelets, or earrings with a sterling silver chain. You can keep your grandmother's sympathy flowers close to your heart, and have lasting memories of her for years to come, and even to pass on to your children.

Preserve/dry roses from a funeral?

Q - I would like to know the best way to preserve/dry roses from a funeral and organize in a shadow box.

A - Freeze drying is the state of the art for preserving sympathy flowers. The flowers remain looking as if their were fresh flowers, they keep their shape and form, and their color become enriched.

An elegant way to keep your sympathy flowers is to arrange them around a poem or scripture in a shadowbox frame.

We have mounted funeral flowers around favored poems in a variety of displays for your consideration.

Floral Keepsake Ball preserves family memories of members who have gone.

Since 1982, Florage, has been taking families fresh flowers from the casket spray or other meaningful flowers from a funeral ceremony, preserving them, and creating life-long memories in their shadowbox keepsakes.

Recently, we have created an exciting new product called, The Keepsake Ball. Its popularity has soared since its inception.

A perfect preserved rose or, most any sympathy flower, rests inside a clear Lucite ball, wrapped with elegant gold ribbons, and personalized with a name and date in gold engraving. The floral keepsake Ball celebrates the life of a family member or friend. Families cherish the memories it represents, as the Keepsake Ball, sits on a desk or table, or hangs in a prominent place, with the light delicately glimmering through.
