A: Yes, of course! Any of our offerings of pressed flower frames can be personalized with the poem of your choice. Just make your selection and type the title in the "Selected Text" text box. We'll do the rest. We can use your flowers or ours. It's up to you.

Drying Flowers to Put in a Shadow Box

Q: Can you tell me how to go about drying flowers to put in a shadow box? I'd like to do my own design work but I don't know how to dry the flowers.



A: We can dry them for you. If you'd like to send us your flowers, we'll freeze dry them and return them to you. Freeze drying is, by far, the best way to preserve flowers intact. It's a lengthy process but the results are worth the wait. I know there are some silica products on the market. From what I've heard, the results are inconsistent. Why take a chance? You could also use the old fashioned air drying method. Your flowers will shrink and the colors will change. They will also be very fragile and difficult to work with. Also, not all flowers can be air dried. Many will just shrivel up and become very unattractive.

Display Photo with Flowers

Q: I have memorial flowers from a funeral. I would like to preserve them in a frame with a photo. Can you suggest something?

A: We can. We have created many bereavement photo keepsakes which include photos of the lost loved one. It makes a wonderful memorial tribute. The photo shown is featured in an oval frame with an acryllic dome. We could also do a similar piece in a shadowbox or as a pressed floral border around your photo.
